Durango

This is Tommy's new home while in Colorado. The group can park  at this farm and store their stuff here when they are not out on the trail.
This is his view while on the trail.
Sometimes on his days off he gets to go to cool places like the San Juan National park.  It's elevation is 12,000 feet.
During his last time off he stayed at a hostel in Silverton.  A super cool, old small town in Colorado.
I can't wait to hear where he goes and what he does next.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day. Here are our wonderful dads. We had a great day. We started with cinnamon rolls and church.
Our beautiful girls sang a lovely song accompanied by Matt.
We had ribs and pie for lunch.
Then a game. WHICH DAD ......
We had questions where dad and kids would guess which dad the question applied to and there could be more then one dad for a question.
Here are examples of our questions.
Which dad...
     Speaks Spanish
     Has no cavities
     Organized a blood drive
     Wears contacts
     Loves panera bread
Played on a team with a future pro baseball player.
Has owned 7 cars in 5 years.
     Been to Europe
     Built a bridge
     Swims for exercise
     Completed a marathon

On and on.  It was lots of fun. We love you dads!

King Tut

We had a great day in Seattle last week.
We started at this restaurant for breakfast.
These are banana foster pancakes, Joey loved them
This is my creme brulee french toast with carmel sauce.  It was divine.
Then on to the Seattle center and King Tut
The artifacts were incredible

This is King Tuts bed made of wood which is very impressive because our deck didn't even last 25 years

This was a really fun day....
