Happy Birthday Sarah!!

August 12th we celebrated Sarah's Birthday!
The day started with a 6 am wake up call for hot yoga.

She wanted to make her own birthday cake and she wanted it to look beautiful.

We also went to Kirkland to get our favorite grinders.

Eagle Scout

Thomas had lots of friends over this summer.  He threw a couple of parties where he would tell us that a couple of his friends are coming over and we told him that was fine we would feed them.  When about 20 showed up one Friday night, that caught us by surprise.  Here they are watching a movie that is being shown on a sheet they hung up on the barn.

A big congratulation to Thomas for earning his Eagle scout!!

We celebrated this summer.

He presented a mother's pin to me...

and a father's pin to dad.

He now can join the Eagles nest.

Fourth of July

TA DA!
  Our first flag cake.
 It took three of us to make it.  I hurt my right hand so Emma had to help make the cake part and Joey decorated it.  

It tasted great! 
Emma had to work at the theater that night, Thomas went to a friends party, Joey and dad put on a fireworks show for me. 

Swim camp

Thomas got the opportunity to go to swim camp at BYU.  He loved it.

Father's day

The tradition is broken.  We did not have  kabobs for mother's day, instead we had them for father's day.  Finally.... it's dad who likes them not mom.

5th grade promotion

He is now a 6th grader.....a middle school-er... goodbye elementary school.

Calvin is ONE !!

Cassie planned a great black and white party.

She had great black and white decorations, yummy food and.....

dipped strawberries.   Delicious!

He is a very sweet boy. He  just watched mommy open his presents.
We played a couple of games.  One was the first to say the joke ( a take off on a comedy routine that had lots of audience participation) the other was pictionary.
